Push the primer a couple times and it starts on the first pull.  Sears has one like it on sale for $279. Briggs motor. It's had to have mowed thousands of acres over the years with the kids growing up taking lawn mower jobs around town as well I'd think. Just keep up on the air cleaner and oil changes and you won't have any worries.</p><p>We bought a $1200 craftsman riding mower at the same time, same goes for it. Haven't even replaced the belt yet. It has a Koehler with a spin off oil filter. Talk about a trouble free mower. Believe it's called an LT 2000 model or something like that.
