And although a Montana boy by birth Phil Jackson is a Williston boy and a und alumni and I hear rumours he did alright after graduating.

Congratulations Carson Wentz. Hope you give all of us armchair Monday coaches something to choke on this year and years to come. Keep working hard and doing what you've been doing, keep sticking to your guns, keep your beliefs, stay healthy best you can and have a good career. I'm sure you will do ND proud and look forward to seeing you continue playing at a higher level.

North of 20 million bucks signing bonus for both of them I bet. That will buy a good number of Big Mac's for years to come.

Prolly buy hisself his very own duck slough, seems like a reasonable thing to do/have if one has the means.

The Eagles have announced that Sam Bradford will miss the first 8-10 weeks of the season with a separated shoulder. Bradford was reportedly injured when he threw the remote at the TV when Carson Wentz was selected.

Bradford is the most overrated QB in the league. And over paid. He's just plain bad. When Bradford and foles were traded straight up phili got the short end of that stick.

Roger Maris was fairly well known and kinda good. Seems like 55yrs later there's still a mention of him now and again inside and outside of ND.

And although a Montana boy by birth Phil Jackson is a Williston boy and a und alumni and I hear rumours he did alright after graduating.

Darin Erstad (Jamestown) went #1 in MLB draft, and also won a world series. Brooks Bollinger (Grand Forks) played at the NFL level (although not very good) for a while as well.

I wish Carson all the luck in the world as it would be awesome if he does well, but in reality he hasn't even taken an NFL snap yet. Lots to prove.

Carson is going to rack up some solid frequent flier miles. God knows he's not going to want to actually live in that armpit state.

Phil and Dave both were part of teams who made it to the superbowl, they are also the teams who went four times but lost.

Carson is going to enjoy playing in Philly " the city of brotherly love", I commend Carson for his courage to announce his Christian faith and to embrace Jesus Christ as his savior.

I watch very little of the draft. IF I'm in the house at all, and I happen to be watching TV, and there's commercial on what I'n watching, I MIGHT flip it to the draft for a few minutes until my show comes back. What's always amazed me is how people can pack a place, (not even a bar), sit there for hours, and all watch it as fans of one team. All I can thinks is these people must not have much going on in their lives. But I guess if you live in a city what else is there? If I'm not fishing, I'm either checking traps, yard work, playing with the dog, fiddling with the boat, and trying to spend what time I can outside if its even remotely nice out. I feel about the same way with pre-season and training camps hype. Let me know when its week one, and what the lines are.

In other news, the Vikings drafted another butterfingers wr, he should do well with 2 yard teddy. Spielman needs to stick to defense in the first round.

We really struggled last season in the red zone, I believe a big WR will help in put TDs on the board, our defense is pretty solid now, picked up some veterans in the off season.

I think the Broncos got the steal of the night as far as getting a must needed QB.
Lynch in the long run has a great opportunity to learn from one of the NFL greatest QB, won't have to be a big impact player right out of the gate this year. Especially with the Denver D being healthy, I can see them in the superbowl this year
