I made the mistake my first year down and just took my pflueger reels from home from fishing here and ruined one of them from sand/saltwater even with washing them after each use. Tarpon and a truly big snook is on my bucket list down there. I've hired two guides and both times it never worked, one time i was too early in the season i feel and the other time we had tarpon all around us but couldn't get one to take bait.</blockquote>
