Are you asking if he believes that habitual offenders stay S of the Medicine Line because they want to avoid mandatory border-crossings and game checks? Or, maybe you're asking if he believes that habitual DUI offenders can't get in to CA and are more likely to end up in ND poaching away since they don't follow the rules anyway?

'05 or '06 ND G&F set up @ the Bismarck and Fargo airports after opening weekends of waterfowl and upland. The violation rate was over 80%. The was a major uproar and pretty good support for a lottery/quota like SD does for waterfowl. The ND G&F fix was to never set up game checks @ the airport again.

I remember that as I had friends from NC come up to hunt pheasants. They got checked at the airport, not over the limit. But there were numerous violations for over the limit, etc.

Had a great weekend out west. Bird numbers were definitely up where we hunted. Super dry though. Even had one of the landowners whos land we hunt each year ask us to not drive in on the trails on his land but to just stay on the roads around it and shoot them off the road or walk in from it when we see some. First time that’s ever happened.

Why do you give a shit how someone hunts. It's none of your business or anyone else. You have no idea the circumstances of the person road hunting. Is he a 75 yr old man with a bad heart or knees. Hell he maybe a farmer just checking fields.
DID I say I give a shit just replied I don't road hunt if you do go right ahead, wrong time of month sir holey shit. Don't piss off farmers and such thou and 75 year old farmer dont hunt by way. We have enough troubles with getting permission now days. I got more damn health issues than you, lazy is word.

You bash road hunters ( i don't condone it myself) but it's ok to fly a drone to check areas so you don't have to walk? I'm not positive but I'm not sure if that is legal if it is in my opinion it is not ethical hunting.
I do subcontracting work for fish and game and it is fine. We do it scouting don't hunt same day, by way I have a handicap permit so walking less is my issue. Road hunters just piss farmers off is my problem. Ever gone out and helped farmer farm can damn sure learn alot.

Well I hope they make drones illegal for scouting but that's just me Is road hunting illegal? Grew up farming and ranching and now take care of the family farm and help our renters when possible so I guess I don't know much at 40yrs old.
I said I don't like road hunters either but unfortunately I can't stop them. It has screwed some of my hunts and rifles reach a long way and create some dangerous situations that I shouldn't have had to deal with

I personally have killed alot bigger birds in the late season. Those birds are hard to hunt in my area until it gets cold i call it coming out of the wood works an dec or when cold seems to do the trick u need to sneek between the food an bedding in my area any one else hunt late season birds. I mean i love to hunt open fields areas but my area has become posted bad divide county so i quit driving up there.

I've found the longest tails in SD late season. Won a contest years ago with a 29.5"er.

I've only killed two "yearlings" this year so far. The others have been 1+ and man o man there are birds around!!

I never insulated you in any way sir, you came back and gave me hell. Yes road hunting is illegal you have been hunting how long to not know that? I am into far chase and being smarter than animal is my game. Drones save me money and wear in tear on my vehicle and you cannot hunt same day either. So when they do decide to make it illegal that is fine. Then I will just have to spend the time and money just like before drones came out. I follow the law do as you wish. Raised right I guess. I dont know much either way over 60. Have great day.
