Message: <blockquote data-quote="PrairieGhost" data-source="post: 347379" data-attributes="member: 704"><p>I have a friend who farms on the Spirit Lake reservation.  Walking from his barn to house one day four dogs come around the corner of the house and came for him with the evident intent of harm.  When he lifted the gun he was carrying they kicked into high gear out of there.  He has animals attacked.  One night seven dogs chewed through a door and killed 200 rabbits.  These are just mongrells that run nearly feral.</p><p></p><p>Another friends wife rescued an unknown pedigree from the animal shelter.  They left him with me for a week.  The dog and I got along great, but I could hardly hold him if anyone with a uniform came around.  He definitely wanted to mangle them.  He was a great hunter, but when they had their first child he had to be put down.</p></blockquote><p></p>
