Message: <blockquote data-quote="Colt45" data-source="post: 483768" data-attributes="member: 1693"><p>So I just received yesterday a notice from the Tax Equalization office for my country that my primary residence assessment is going up 7% for the year 2026 as compared to 2025. </p><p>I think my taxes can only go up 3.5%, not sure on that though.</p><p></p><p>Anyways the property tax situation is still a mess, and will continue to be. I am all onboard to scrap the whole system and go with a sales tax or something similar, not that it will save us any money but whats going on with property taxes is beyond reasonable.</p></blockquote><p></p>
