God Bless YOU guys. Thank YOU for the reception I got in Bangor, Maine after DS/DS. A gracious Lady cupped my hand in both of hers and said: "Thank you. God bless you"; I was half stunned. Next, she asked if "there was anything she could do" for me!! She must've been a psychic. "Ma'am if you can get me out of this line and get me to a beer; that'd be GOOD": She grabbed my wrist, led me directly to an empty bar, hugged and kissed me then went back to "greeting". I didn't know it and didn't care: I was five minutes in front of the "line". By the time "my" squad began to pass, I was ass deep in my third free Bud. I was already in "trouble" for letting a cute stewardess carry my A2 as she served meals, etc. Anyways, gotta hate the Chair Farce: All I did was guard a perimeter and dodge a few rockets the same way I don't get hit by lighting. THANK YOU Viet Nam Vets for the current respect for those who have served. GOD BLESS YOU.
