Now that we are in post spawn there will be some skinny but hungry catfish ready to eat. The best fishing has continued to be in the middle of the river holes in or near the main current. Sitting on them a little longer can still payoff. 25-30 minutes sit seems to be the best. Goldeye has been the best bait but tournament anglers in last week’s Scheels Boundary Battle say they had good results with frogs. This year’s frogs should be about three weeks away and that could be a great bait down the stretch.</p><p></p><p>River conditions continue to be near perfect.
