I shot my ND bull elk with a 168 Berger VLD spit from a 7mm mag. The first round hit high right below the spine and somewhat penciled through. The shock dropped him right there. He tried to stand back up presenting a neck shot. I took it and dropped him right where he first fell down. I found the neck shot bullet laying right underneath the hide on the opposite side when we caped it out.  </p><p></p><p>think opposite of Barnes bullets. They like to fragment IME. They remind me of shooting things with A-maxes.</p></blockquote><p></p>
