Scope replacement

Looking at replacing my scope on my 270. Looking at Burris,Sightron,Meopta,Vortex. Prefer variable in roughly 4x16x44 or 50. (MOA) Would like to keep it under $1k .Any recommendations or insight? Have looked Midway USA, Optic Planet,Cabelas ,Scheels. Any great deals I'm missing? Thanks in advance...

burris veracity 3-15x50 would be a good choce

I have the 4-20x50 on my 300 WSM and will be putting the 3-15 on my 243 sometime in the near future

I have a couple of Vortex Vipers 4-16x44. They are around $500. I really like them. Put the first one on my .243 Ackley for coyotes. Have not made a decision for the 2nd one yet. Either .270 WSM or .240 Weatherby. I probably will not buy any other kind of scope again I like it so much.

That scope is as good or better than any Vortex, Burris, Bushnell, etc that you’ll find under $1,000.

If you want a better scope under $1k, look into Leupold VX5-HD 3-15x

Meopta is also a good choice

I have a vortex viper pst 6-24x50 on my 6.5. Absolutely love it. I will someday upgrade the scheels scope on my 7mag to the same vortex scope. Would love to have one on each gun I own, but many of them don't call for up to 24x magnification.

Little more than you want to spend but maybe a sale somewhere? The Leupold vx6 with red dot in reticle are crazy nice.
