Thanks for the tip! I think we'll give this a try!If you're looking for an adventure with your son that will make memories, start at the first bridge downstream from baldhill dam and hit EVERY bridge crossing from there south as far as you have time for. Gives you time for snacks and conversations between spots. Spend about 3 minutes hitting each corner of the bridge with a half dozen casts and then move on. If there are active fish there, they will hit most times on the first cast. Should take about 20 minutes at each bridge. That trip keeps the youngin engaged and excited without making any one spot boring. Good Luck and post pics!
Audubon has great shore fishing for big SM and pike. Recommend you're always rigged with wire.looking to take my son shore fishing for bass. Was looking at Ashtabula possibly. Any decent spots that people have had luck? Looked like the east/west crossing area had some accessible spots.
Any good spots? Or just all the public landings?Audubon has great shore fishing for big SM and pike. Recommend you're always rigged with wire.
The bass won't care.
From Minot (20 min): Don't remember the name: Turn East at the "Garrison Crossroad" on 83: Go South on the 1st "major" road to the boat ramp. You'll see. It's all good. DO NOT bother on weekends or holidays.Any good spots? Or just all the public landings?
