(Handled properly, shoulder cuts can be the tastiest, most elegant portion of your kill.)
There are so many cut's/game meats Steve uses a similar wording to frequently. Which is fine I like this idea better than trimming anyways. Thanks for the reminder with both daughters having doe tags there might be a couple bone in shoulders reserved for something different.

When I work with my Twist of Fate hunters I try to get them in that area, not much reason to worry about shoulders with a crossbow and fixed blade at 20-25yds. Plus a lot of times I feel people worry about it and tend to go a little farther back and higher which if they do that they are still in double lung territory vs aiming for lungs and getting liver or guts
