Trying to watch that tiny GPS screen and not lose anyone in the group sure did suck.</p><p></p><p>This was before cell coverage on Big Windy - and an unexpected strong wind cold front picked up snow and ground blizzarded us. </p><p></p><p>One other group with a younger boy headed back in too. They had started from a half mile away from us. They had to pitch up for a while and get heaters going in flip-up when they lost a belt on the snowmobile. After warming up they wrestled what ended up being the wrong size belt into place and limped in.</p><p></p><p>Waiting for them back on shore and wondering what was gonna happen was awful. I still feel queasy/ugh all these years later.</p></blockquote><p></p>
