Here are my picks...

Blackhawks over the Predators
Blues over the Wild - lover Zach but just can support MN
Sharks over Edmonton
Ducks over Flames
Montreal over Rangers - This one goes either way
Ottawa over Boston - I hate Marchand
CBJ over Pittsburgh - This one will come down to coaching
Capitals over Toronto

I will always pull for the Hawks, but hockey being hockey, I believe that there are players who deserve to win the Stanley Cup more than the team they play for. I would love to see Jumbo Joe and Patrick Marleau win with SJ, Oshie and Chimera with the Capitals, Mike Fischer and Mike Ribeiro with the Preds, and Anderson with the Ottawa.

Pulling for the CBJ, they have not been playing well as of late though. I think the Hawks win it all.

They clinched that spot 3 weeks ago. Torts is a smart, sly, win at all cost type of guy. That bastard would tell you it's raining while he's pissing on your leg. I think they were sandbaging the last part of the season so no one got hurt and Torts could rework the offence for the playoffs.

I'd be lying if I had not thought the same last few weeks. Their youth is either their biggest weekness or Tort will have them oblivious to all the reasons they should not win.

He had a great quote the other day, talking about their young team.

"I will tell them that playoff hockey is unlike anything they have ever played. They won't believe me....and then we will go play hockey and I'll watch them learn."

Nothing better in sports than Playoff hockey IMO! The Preds played a solid game last night, no doubt. However, I think it will be tough to win a 7 game series against the Hawks by just sitting back after they get a lead. Pekka Rinne is a solid net minder and I'm sure this isn't the only time where he will be a game changer in this series. It will be interesting to see how the Hawks adjust to the trap style of game that the Preds were using in game 1. I know it's a little late but here are my picks.... Hawks, Blues, Flames, & Sharks move on from the west. Ranger, Senators, Leafs, & Jackets move on from the East. Hawks and Blue Jackets in the Cup. GO HAWKS!

Well, so far Chicago looks to be in trouble..Minnesota down 0-3 can't buy a goal. And Pittsburgh looks well on their way to repeat.

I think it's a MN Twins conspiracy. They want to remain the only MN franchise with top honors so they're sending info to opposing teams and "distractions" to the home teams.

By late-March I'd lost faith that the Wild would win the cup, but I honestly didn't expect them to go 4 and out to St. Louis.

This is playoff hockey! Tough kid. Actually came back in the game until his eye swelled up so much he couldn't see.
