Message: <blockquote data-quote="Downrigger" data-source="post: 482548" data-attributes="member: 201"><p>The best thing I did is purchased non-serrated steak knives and a worksharp belt sharpener.  I'm not even sure what knives I have but I got them from one of the kitchen stores because I liked how they felt.  Sharpen them up every month or so and I've had no issues with my knives.  Is it fun, nope, but I haven't had many issues either with my knives the past 3 years or so.   Also a good excuse to sharpen up the big game knives and fillet knife so they're aways ready.  </p><p></p><p>For those that can just sharpen them by hand, you have talents that I don't!</p></blockquote><p></p>
