I'm planning on taking my son to the tailrace for a fishing trip in the next week or two. Is the boat landing in good shape with current water levels? How has the fishing been? I was hoping he would have a chance to catch a trout or salmon.

Last I had heard, it was, but it can get sketchy before dark and into the overnight. That was probably a few weeks ago now, so things may have changed.

two saturdays ago, was up there shorefishing. Nothing but catfish. The ramp looked okay until later in the night. by 1AM the water was getting very low.
