Message: <blockquote data-quote="Velva_zv21" data-source="post: 186772" data-attributes="member: 5600">Depends on the situation I guess..... if your cruisin a shoreline casting cranks up shallow and come across people fishing on shore I guess I would respect that guy and go around where they were standing at a distance of which I think ther ability to cast is and then go rite back to casting shallow.  As far as fishing in a boat next to other boats it also depends on the lake or river and situation... for example the rainy river this spring ther was tons of boats we were the only ones catching fish because we were doing something completely different than everyone else like trolling 3 way cranks with 5oz bb, didn't have a mile of line behind the boat to get snagged with other people but literally had boat after boat drive from behind us and cut in front of us a half a boat length away and start jigging with minnows.... it got old real fast, so all in all I guess the moral of the story is respect one another and when people don't we just call them D bags- - - Updated - - -I think everyone should have a right to fish that spot nobody owns it,  boats are limited to NOT fish within 100ft of the bridge which gives the shore guys the advantage of fishing the bridge.. which I saw with my own eyes one after the other this guy was catching from shore thinking to myself man I wish I could get my boat closer to that spot if that stupid sign wasn't ther and nobody was fishing from shore...... as far as DL I guess I would fish far enough away from those people but still be close enough to not bother them</blockquote>
