I had one on me yesterday.

My oldest son and I were Turkey hunting yrs ago in the Sandhills. About 1993 or 1994. I got permission to hunt some private land. So we went out the evening before season opened and put them to roost. That night we got 5 or 6 inches of snow. We got set up about a hr before they started to gobble. As it was getting lighter, and the Turkeys started to make noise. My son got my attention to show me some wood ticks were walking across the snow. It was about 30 degrees and they were out. It wasn't 2 or 3 it was closer to 100 ticks.

And yes he did shoot a Turkey that morning. With a 20 ga Browning BPS Youth model and Winchester Super X 3 inch 6 shot.

Here in northern mn we have " winter ticks" as they are active all winter underneath fir trees where moose and deer bed down, these ticks basically deer ticks do a number on our moose population with brain disease. Pine tree stands early spring then again mid fall they become very active little some beeches. Find one on the dog I'm itching all night.

Damn out already. I hate ticks.
Buy spray bottles of permethrin and treat your clothes . Soak them good with the spray and let dry . When you wear them you won’t get ticks or mosquitoes.

Yep, undetickification is possible and that's how you do it. It's easier that trying to figure out what undetickification means, or how to pronounce it.
