Got a LITTLE shower last nite so slower this morning, but thanks again for your ongoing concern over my schedule and what I get done. I should be back in the seeder by noon or a little before with the wind.

The last heifer had calved when I checked them earlier so that is a relief to have that done.

I thought that plainsman was my nemesis though?

Anyways you seem kind of preoccupied with my life and times........perhaps instead of worrying so much about others, you should stop and consider what your legacy will be when you finally reach NDA legendary status and 98% of your 5000 posts have been about one person.

Not quite as hard as harnessing horse in the lantern light though.

My Dad grew up doing that as a kid and a couple years ago he watched as we sat in our calving barn chute side with a lap top running a laser to etch the zona of an embryo before we implanted it in a recipient cow so that it would attach to the CL better and improve the conception rate.

This fella might be running one of them fancy drones that are all the rage nowadays though.

Haven't found anything to "auto calve" a bunch of heifers yet........come on spend a couple months in March and April and try to keep up. After 5 or 6 days you kinda get use to sleeping 6 hours a nite three different shifts.
