You're right, def not the driver's fault. And the folks working in the UPS hub here in Bismarck either. I mean, the grunts are only doing what they're told. This time of year, the UPS, FedEx, USPS "system" barely works. All three major carriers are constantly, nearly, temporarily overwhelmed. Stick in a couple of days of the interstate being closed, and it takes weeks to get back to normal. UPS in Bismarck has something like 150 extra people they've pulled in from other cities, to help with the backlog. And they have something like an EXTRA 40 trailers each night, over and above what they normally experience at this "peak" time of the year. My enhanced intelligence leads me to believe that they obviously need to hire a bunch more people to work during the Christmas season, but I'm told that it's so temporary (and people don't want to work unless they get $20 an hour). All that being said, I should be getting a box from Rapala, tomorrow.
