Anyone else using their lunch break to go get your valentines day crap? My wife told me last night not to get her any flowers because they are a waste of money and die anyway so now I gotta figure out something else. Probably just find a bunch of chocolate that looks tasty. She sides with me in that she think v-day is nothing but a hallmark holiday but I still think if I stiff her on a gift/card I'll be in the shit house.

Wife asked me what I got for her just before she left this morning. I asked her what she got for me. We're in a stalemate.

Card, ear rings, necklace, or perfume.
Any little gift means the world to a woman.
Take them out for supper maybe.

I sat in enough VD classes in the military to know VD is bad and just another day to avoid getting VD. For Mrs. KDM's VD, I'm grilling Choice Top Sirloin tonight. Hope I get to enjoy a good VD too.

Well with the wife and 4yr old daughter sick, still and our 2yr old daughter, lab, and myself still healthy this should make for an interesting day. We normally don't get too wound up anyways so I'm doing up some country style pork ribs with my BBQ rub of pork love.

I picked this up at Sam's Club for tonight, butterfly heart-shaped ribeyes and lobster tails. It takes very little effort to show someone you care, and it comes back to you tenfold if you're consistent with it, not just on a certain day but every day. Okay, my advice for the day. :;:cheers

If they say don't get flowers because they just die, I think that's a front. Make her think you agree and get her a dozen red roses anyways...it's the way woman are she'll appreciate it! IMO anyways. Also, that heart shaped ribeye is absolutely genius!

Iam thinking chicken pot pies you rich bastards. Had walleye last night and pheasant the night before and bbq ribs the night before that so comfort food sounds good. Thank God for deep frezzzzz.

No gifts or flowers this year…just a nice night out…got all the stuff at home to make great meal but there’s something to be said about being waited on…sure it’s overpriced and probably not as good as home cooked meal but it makes it special…
