Is there video somewhere of the incident? I'm trying to visualize how you have a potentially season-ending injury without making contact with another person. Did his upper half zig while his lower half zagged?

without getting into details as nobody cares...a large portion of ACL are non contact. your ACL connects you femur yo your tibia and resist hyper extension think of a rope and check reign. when the force of extension overcomes said rope ( ligament) you tear it. i see this every day in my clinic and A LOT are non contact.

thats why when you see those guys doing tests on TV its when they pull the bottom ( tibia up) push top ( femur down) to exert an extension force and your feeling (play) laxity in the knee joint. its amazing what your hands can feel when you get a torn one it feels like it goes forever without stopping.

It's now official, an MRI has confirmed that #Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater has a torn ACL and will miss the entire 2016 season.

Teddy is the best QB since Favre on the Vikes, hands down. He has progressed very nicely and sucks big time he is out. Shit happens though. The Vikes still have a solid team. But Sean Hill is almost over the Hill. I hope we can come up with something better than Hill.

Since we are talking medical stuff i got a buldge right above my dinger on the right side from my reading it seems to be a sports herinia where the muscle has torn from the pelvis some, it has got better with rest.

Watched a little bit of it. Nothing is confirmed yet. But Zimmer said it doesn't look good.
