Water Temps

Has anybody been monitoring the water temps yet? Still some ice out here in the western part of the state, but with the warm weather we should be creeping closer towards the 40s.

I have not, but would guess the water temps to be very close to the 32* mark

As soon as the ice is off I will be. One of the most important things to keep track of in the spring IMO.

last week water temp was 37 today it was 35 when i got off water temp tells you a lot in spring time fishing should always be watching it through out the day and day to day it should be warmer tomorrow

Luckily the temp gauge in bismarck came online midday today so a guy can know what's happening without having to be out there. It peaked just below 37.5 and has dropped back to 36.5. Like said tomorrow should get it climbing fast.
