Why were you not at the PSC meetings? Did you even pick up a phone to call and ask to be part of the planning? I am finding that the news media is portraying this and are creating more empathy for the protestors. What makes the news these days seems to be reporting on disasters or negative incident. I would guess this to be 80%-90% of the newscast besides the weather and sports. Anyways, I usually make several trips to Prairie Knights a year, but I guess it is time to rethink supporting Standing Rock by staying at their casino and going to concerts there. So I do agree with an earlier comment to Boycott the casino. Not my favorite casino anyways......get more options down in Deadwood. Time to go :fishing...:

[QUOTE="Paddledogger, post: 120253, member: 2876"] It is their right to protest, but they do need to do it peacefully and lawfully. There are a lot of good points on here and examples of how the protestors are so very hypocritical in their actions. A lot of this has to do with some of the people that are coming in form out of state only to "stir the pot". Then to hear that protestors and taking photos of law enforcement personnel and their name badges and posting them on the internet......really. That is supporting your cause??????? I view the media as not providing clear details on this. They twist it or do not report or communicate all of the facts. They should be stressing that this protest is NOT on reservation land. I would like a reporter to ask the SRST Council Members, where were you during the planning of all of this? Why were you not at the PSC meetings? Did you even pick up a phone to call and ask to be part of the planning? I am finding that the news media is portraying this and are creating more empathy for the protestors.
