Message: <blockquote data-quote="dean nelson" data-source="post: 121766" data-attributes="member: 1305">I wonder if the protest had anything to do with the half a dozen cop cars with a vehicle surrounded on the corner of Main and 6th Street in Mandan at 6:30 in the morning.I did however thoroughly enjoy breaking a hippies brain.  she was harping on a random guy in front of me at the gas station about how nobody in Bismarck would have ever allowed oil to come down a river into the Bismarck or Mandan area. then he points out where standing rocks intake is and she is getting really pissed and fires back that she doesn't care about the intake because it's the fact that we are picking on the little guys and we fishermen  ( apparently blaze orange is now the new fishing outfit I guess) would never let the pipeline be up stream of Bismarck and Mandan because our fishing spots mean more to us then their sacred land(she's got that part right). it was at this point I joined in. looked at her and said your right we don't want a spill but that sill wouldn't have stopped us from backing it. she fires back with "oh yes it would have" at which point I brought up the fact (I know facts don't matter to these wack jobs) that Bis Man area is not built on one river but in fact on two. she shoots back of what difference does that make. the other guy must of picked up where I was heading because he started chuckling at her quite loudly and that really pissed her off. at that point I leaned out a bit and pointed at some trees off a few hundred yards. so then I pointed out that those trees are on the Hart river and it meets and merges with the Mo  just down around a mile. at this point she's is clearly confused and was beginning to figure out that I had set a trap for her. so when I hit her with fact the pipeline crosses under the river only 20 or so miles upstream and if it leaks it will come right through town. she huffed saying if that was true why hasn't  she ever heard about it ? at that point the other guy ended it with the knockout blow of "that's because we're not a bunch well far chasers who have nothing better to do then bitch well staying at what amounts to a giant retard version of a boy scouts camp.  really wish I had my phone since there was one point where she was caling fossil fuels poison for the planet and that they need to be goten rid of immediately.  all the while the bitch is standing there holding a god damn gas pump in her hand fulling her Suburban!</blockquote>
