You have my dream job, I always thought when I retire I wanted to be a part time pumper so when a pumper that I knew was looking for help I rode with him one day but all the wells were old and kobbled together. Roustabouts were fixing leaks as fast as they could and had a long list. One well had adjacent landowners with a salt water disputes . A bunch of the wells around here are old to very old with a few very very old ones. Low producers but it's cheaper to pump them and lose money than it is to plug and abandon them. By the end of the day I turned it down, I have a hard enough time sleeping at night the way it is. - - - Updated - - - [QUOTE=eyexer; QUOTE I agree. two pipes. Inner a thick wall poly probably 2" thick or more. Then a steal outer. You can pull a new poly every ten years or so. won't have corrosion issues. Exactly the way I see it too, The only credible argument that can be made against a pipeline system like that is $$$.
