I raise damned near everything. About 1 acre to ground plant. Being a drywaller I have hundreds of 5gal buckets, so tomatoes go in them on raised platforms, will grow to over my head. I hate bending over due to needing hip replacement. Also buy 18 gal tubs from menards for my peppers. Put a 3''x 4' sewer pipe in middle of tub caped bottom end, drill 1x4" holes in bottom foot. Place in center of tub that I have drilled a few 1" holes for drainage. Fill with potting soil to within 3" of top. Put lid on top of pipe so no flies can get in. Drop in fish heads and guts when they are available or rough fish. Plant 3 peppers per tub. About once a week fill pipe with water, its like putting andhidrus on corn. Downside is you need to water about ever three day when it gets hot. Got about 25 peppers per plant last year. I have four people that I give tomatoes, peppers and onions to and they give me back salsa. Nice assortment of salsa and no mess. I love to grow stuff but hate the canning part except sweetcorn. Silver Queen all white is my go to for canning. For a cold winter supper mashed tatoes sweetcorn and a ring of deer sausage don't get no better.
