When is the last time you saw a monarch?

I had a swarm of grasshoppers riding on the hood of my truck last night. They like rides.

the ones that hitch a ride on my neck through the open window can bugger off

I have maybe a dozen larvae in my jig on the swamp milkweed now. Less than ten percent of normal.
