Sometimes it's all how you cook it. It took a while but I've found ways to cook some of the worst and make them edible, like carp and tillipia. I once cooked a trout that was in my fridge for 2 wks. It was clearly rotten but I didn't want to waste it. I spent a lot of money to go trout fishing for the weekend with a buddy and only caught the one, then forgot about it in the fridge. It was truly awful but got eaten. One time while camping we caught a goldeye we ate the fresh roe, not to bad, and roasted the rest over the fire. It wasn't great but edible. Someone got the great idea to try an eyeball, that particular taste is one I wish I'd never tasted. The way it popped and oozed almost made me vomit. My other buddy was not so fortunate.</p></blockquote><p></p>
