Missing out on kids stuff usually gets me worried, especially in the winter. I spend so much damn time in the paint booth that I know I'm going to regret missing something. I've made it a point to sacrifice myself, painting late at night or after hes gone to bed, instead of times hes up and ready to party.
People ask why I go fishing so late. This is why. I usually only go after my kids have gone to bed. Nice spring night, and I'm just arriving at 9PM. Don't want to miss any more of their day(s) than I have to.
I cut down my non-family fishing by a big margin because my kids are so much fun. I just like hanging out waiting for what they are going say next. After potty training is over, things start to get a lot more fun
Yup, until I had kids, I didn't realize how much fun they were.
Two biggest (little kid) milestones. Sleeping through the night, and no more diapers. A close third is when they can buckle themselves into a carseat.
