When I was on the Athletic Booster Club Board, we had a farmer that donated land and seed for us. We would load pickups and trailers. We sold $5/bakers dozen and made roughly slightly more that $500 on average. Just don't overfill the box, as the corn hold a lot of heat and you need to sell it the next day before the weight and heat starts turning your cobs on the bottom starts breaking down. But it's a great start for it if you are using for a "moonshine".
The sweet corn for this year's picking is getting close. I was out there over the weekend and it won't be long before athletes, coaches, parents will be out there picking away.
