LOL the whole interest in Isle Royale was that it was one of the best studies of the natural, undisturbed predator/prey relationships. It has run its course, look how it played out. Over time, without the wolves, the moose population will eat its way into a major decline. Unless the lake freezes over again and wolves make their way out there naturally.

I wonder if island moose have parasites?

I know it sounds conspiracy theory
It's only theory if your wrong. Liberals elect liberals who appoint liberals at the top of government departments who dictate to the peons below them. Some are smart enough to blame the politicians, others blame the peons. Sort of like our legislature and out Game and Fish. We either get active and voice our opinion or the granola's who do will win. The best defense is a strong offence.

So I take it it was wolves that have destroyed our herd in the Pembina Gorge and Turtle mountains?
