Anybody have one? I'm curious what model you have, and how far you can effectively shoot coyotes at night. And your likes/dislikes/do-overs.

Thanks

I wish ND would allow these for coyote hunting. Might be worth the risk anyway.

I actually did contact Oneil. He's apparently a dealer also. Waiting to hear what his thoughts are too. Knowing them guys I'm sure they don't run anything i can afford, however.

The ones they run are around 9k. In a few years you should be able to get one for half that.

I am a dealer for Pulsar and can get ATN through my distributors. I have been doing a ton of reading and from what i am finding from reading is about $3000-$5000 gets a guy what he wants. Any cheaper than that and may be disappointed. Seriously considering bringing one in to play with.

Mine are all Armasights 640, 60hz and 100mm objective, anything else as far as specs and you're missing out. Let me know if you have any questions, I've used about every combination in my prior life as a Marine. IMG_0450.jpg We fill my dead pole 5 or 6 times in a winter.

I've been watching some of the videos of these guys shooting pigs and coyotes with this new technology. I would love to get into some of this but it looks pretty overwhelming in price and setup. Damn,it would be cool to do this.

I'm about to bite on the atn thor 2-8 x 25. I know it's not the top of the line, but I like my atn x-sight 2 and the way it functions. I figure staying with the atn brand may help me with the learning curve. I honestly don't plan on shooting anything past 200 at night so I think this scope will work. I've been able to find it for about $2350 and there is a $200 rebate available thru ATN right now.... $2100 for thermal doesn't seem too bad. I've done a bit of research and watched a ton of videos from people on the youtube. I would love to spend more, but it's just not in the cards right now.

I do a lot of coyote hunting as well and hunting at night has been something we have wanted to do for quite some time. I saw a very affordable option that really seems to work well for the price and all the reviews on their facebook page are positive. It's called 3dnightvision and the concept is really basic and you can outfit it to just about anything. I'm almost thinking for $400 it's worth the chance. Does anyone have any experience with this setup?

Damn man. I wish!!!

So with your experience, is there any reasonable compromises to be made on these things?. IF you were to compromise, where would you do it; processor, mag, objective, other bells and whistles?
