2017 Mcquades meet up

hey im heading to mcquades tournament this weekend in bismarck, and staying at the comfort inn in town, was gonna see if anyone of you guys would be interested in meeting up there for a beer or two one of the nights?

there is a bar right in my hotel that would offer some cold ones to be thrown back

I'd hold off drinking in the comfort in until you either win it or lose out. I'd meet up with you but I'm headed North, to Alaska on Thursday.

why whats so bad about the comfort inn? there isnt really much to choose from this time of year when getting rooms. and this one had a bar so it was decided...

Agreed. The hotel is perfectly fine. The bar is very tough on a guys poor liver. Or should I saw pour liver?

Anyhow, I reckon what's the point of heading to a bar, if not to indulge a bit..?

i would be getting to town friday late afternoon and meetin up with the team to watch homerun derby and drink some beers then heading to the hotel around 9 ish i would say friday night, i will be wearing my DH custom baits hat so if my drunk and yelling at the casino employees doesnt give me away my hat will!

Everybody be careful this weekend. Two years ago bad bad bad accident on Expy. Guy going the wrong way on Mandan side of the bridge, head-on in a pickup, into a little car with three young ladies in it. Two died, one is still in terrible shape, and he's in prison.

Haha, not an uber driver. Off the bottle a few years now (it was high time) and sure don't miss watching out for cops all the time. I would pick up a buddy in need though, rather than have someone ruin a life or two. PM me (honestly) if you need a phone number. I'll quit fishing to come get you.

i appreciate that, im pretty responsible when it comes to the drinking and driving for that tournament, generally we end up on foot cause you cant get a cab, and 3-4 mile hike at 3 in the morning and then waking up to play softball by 8 isnt ideal haha.. but better than waking up in jail

I'd rather lose an hour of sleep in the middle of night, than lose a future fishin' buddy. I don't check this site often during the weekend, but you can get my number from DM if you need it, and I'll come pick you and your crew up, rather than have something bad happen.

I'm planning on being at the home run Derby, but not sure. I'm won't make Saturday of Mcquades due to being in a fishing tournament in Washburn. But maybe will be able to make our 4:50 game. We'll see I guess. And good luck to all on the site playing in the tournament, u less ur playing against me!
