If a guy wanted to get fancy you can run a gain twist. Bartlien has been doing a bunch of those

220 swift is what I have shot for years its awesome. Totally crushes them in thier tracks. Was shooting 55gr ballistic tips but would exit on yearling coyotes so now shooting 50 gr. Any coyote 400 and under is in serious trouble if I don't get to excited and do something dumb which never ever happens when calling lol

I will 2nd the 220 swifts awesomeness. I have shot over a few more yotes than I care to think about because I didn't respect how flat it shot.

I've used .223 and the 220 swift with 50 v-maxes and the 243 with 58 v-maxes. I really liked the 243 with the 58's. A friend swears by the 70gr TNT's in either a 6mm Rem or 6x47 Lapua.

Anyone have feedback with .224 75 a-maxes and 53 v-max? Good, bad or ugly?

I've tried just about everything .224 and the 75gr AMAX is a hammer in the wind but it's not as flat for my liking out to 600, my barrel is only 18" so 33gr of Varget is about as hard as I want to push it and with the fur damage from the 55gr VMAX, I switched to the 60gr Cutting Edge Raptor last year and it's been DRT 80+ times so far. My 250 is only running 3175fps so I'm 15.5 minutes at 600 and 6.75 at 400 from my 100 yd zero if that helps.
