i don't know about everyone else but i HATE buying jigs individually by the 5 pack or even 10 packs.;:;banghead was just wondering if anyone knows where a guy can buy some serious bulk jigs??? i do not have the time or the patience to sit down and make my own either so that is out the window.

What type of bulk are you looking for? I have seen some 100 packs at scheels in different sizes and colors.

Cabelas sells packs of 25 in many different weights and colors. Generally around 5 bucks a pack if I remember right

Rather than spending money on jigs, spend the money on the supplies and make your own. Seriously you can make 250 (painted ) jigs in an afternoon.

Jigs at $cheels are .50-.75 EACH! At that price, your first batch of jigs will be worth at least $150 and you will easily cover the cost of the supplies you need. After that it lead, hooks and paint....money in the back, quality hooks and custom colors.

If ball jigs are acceptable, PM me with what you would like and I'll see if I can help you out.

I prefer to buy mine individually from Scheels so I can pick that "EFFEN" sticker off of every single hook!

I scored on some great deals on a discontinued jig made by Lindy, max gap glow in the dark. The jigs are my favorite for fishing ice out for walleye.

I like these jigs because when using a bigger bait like Creek chubs or suckers they work the best. I have some that I have used for a few years just touch up the hook.

Super glow and some have rattles

I've been playing around with using over-sized and long shank hooks in my molds and I can use a 3/0 regular or long shank in my 1/4 oz mold with only a little bit of flow through around the edges for those "Big" baits that need a wide gap when the mold calls for #2 or 2/0. Same for my 1/8 oz jig molds that call for a #1 or 1/0, I've been putting a 2/0 in and it's working just fine. I think up-sizing the hook will be my SOP from now on. More hook gap for plastics or when using those bigger live baits. Custom jigs are becoming more appealing to me as I go along with choosing hooks and colors. Do they have a "JA" or Jigbuilders Anonymous if and when I lose control????
