Shooting Locked Horn Buck

Is it ethical to shoot a buck when their horns are locked up with another buck? I can't imagine that the meat of the dead one would still be good.

I see nothing wrong with it. The other buck would just die from exhaustion or coyotes. I do not think I would want the meat from either after all the stress, but the mount will be cool.

only seems ethical to kill it, instead of suffering, dragging around a carcass, and most likely will die anyways from the stress... and duh,, who wouldn't. great story,, 2 for 1 buck, and great mount.. but probably expensive.

Had a friend find some deer locked up. Him and the GW got them separated and the deer lived long enough to shed the antler that was sawed in half.
