What is "Have only positive expectations LLP" and why do they own land in ND?

Anyone else peruse some of the online land postings and find some odd owners/posters?

Our office works with hundreds of farmers spread out from Sutton all the way to the Montana border. I work with the owners of many of these “odd” named entities.
A landowner is advised by an attorney or financial planner to put their land into a LLC or partnership of some sort and all of a sudden these guys need to come up with a name. Some of them have really made me scratch my head.

Skullit nailed it. They can basically name it whatever they want so long as the ND Secretary of State OK's it. You do see a lot of family names in the LLLPs and LLCs, but it's not a requirement.
