I have a couple scratches in my gel-coat and would like to get some advise from a pro.
The scratches are on a vertical section of the hull and the gel-coat is perfectly clear make this repair seem difficult to me.
Good news I think ?? is when i pour water in/on the scratches they disappear. So I hope the metal flake is not damaged.
I bought a couple different repair kits but they don't look to be clear ? And a Harbor freight DA polisher and a bunch of pads.
I'm hoping to find someone who has some fiberglass/gel-coat experience and would be interested in pointing me down the right path.
Bob Gibbon is a great guy but I had some work done there I'm not happy with. I might swing by with my ride and see what he has to say.
Thanks in advance
