How big of hail did you see this morning? Must have been golf ball-ish at my house in central Bismarck, didn't go outside to see but looked through the windows. Definitely sounded bigger than the normal pea-sized stuff. Have some holes in my vinyl siding now.

I live NE of Bismarck and there was quarter sized hail pounding the house, sounded like larger hail at times. Haven't checked for damage yet but will at lunch.

I was. Several years ago out bow hunting and this little cloud built up and stayed over head. I was in a ground blind at the time.

It started to rain and I stayed out there. It turned to hail and got bigger and bigger. There were a few tennis ball size coming down. Fortunately, my blind was somewhat protected by trees but I put my backpack over my head in case something came through and hung on to the blind so it wouldn't blow away.

nothing like watching hail stones break tree branches off 20 yards in front of you.

When it was done, I made the hike back to the truck. It wasn't pretty. Dents all the way around but no broken glass. It was also a brand new truck too.

I don't want to go through that again.

I work north of town. We have a fleet of 3/4ton trucks. Most of them are totaled. Had baseball size hail.

Got caught in quarter sized hail out in the open while playing Jr. High Football. Parents, Coaches, and the cheerleaders huddled under both teams as we stood helmet to helmet and shoulder pads to shoulder pads forming a dome of protection over them. That stuff stung like crazy when a piece would find a crack and smack some skin. Got it in the lower back and neck as I recall. No serious injuries, but it could have been really bad had we not huddled together. After that, the coaches decided to call the game where it sat. We lost 7-0. Hope nobody got hurt and my sympathies to those who had stuff trashed.

Pretty small in south Bismarck. Wind ripped a few branches off the cottonwoods out back, but no hail damage that I could find

20 miles west of Mandan here and the biggest I saw with my flashlight as the power went out just before the storm hit so it was dark except for the impressive lightning show was slightly smaller than golf ball size mostly marble size for about 15 minutes sounded like some bigger ones hitting on occasion but did not see them. One pickup and the pontoon got hit have not looked the house over too close yet but already filed claims to get things looked at. Have about a 2 acre yard that is full of mature trees and they are shredded, I can walk across my entire property and not ever touch the ground, totally blanketed with tree debris.
Third time the pontoon has been hailed out in 5 years.;:;banghead

I have a built in fire pit on my patio and this yard having a ton of filthy Chinese elm trees keeps me busy cleaning up every time the breeze is over 20 mph and keeps me with a never ending supply of fuel for the fire pit.

No hail on the eastern side that i've heard of but we got some bad wind damage around the area. Talk to some friends in Michigan and sounds like the town is a twisted mess right now. Luckily my moms house survived somehow. Heard some reports on the radio that Gilby is in the same situation.

Up in NW Bismarck the west side of most houses have holes in siding. I live up by Horizon and my house is beat to hell along with all my neighbors. Thankfully the big ones were the first few and then when it really started coming down they were more marble size but with the wind still did damage. My coworker had a baseball size one come through both panes on her house window.
