He trys to claim in the article that it is 182 lbs!!!:;:muahaha They don't make them that big!! The largest documented wolf in North America is 175 lbs. Divide it by 2 and the weight will be closer.

I don't know about the rest of you, but when I shoot a wolf, I typically make sure no one finds out about it. Banded wolves are more challenging.

Have seen a few when up north that are easily over 100 lbs. Have a friend up there that has a rug and the head is not too much smaller than the one in the pic. The head isn;t much smaller than a basket ball. he said that one was just over 160.

This area is only a 5 hour drive away and they have several packs around the area. They lose a far number of cattle (mostly calves) in the area.

Have seen some interesting things up there in what wolves can do. It would be harder to mistake a wolf for a coyote than it would not too.

On another site, in another time, in a galaxy far away...........a retired doctor that was concerned with right wing shenanigans lamblasted Wyoming for not cow towing to the Feds on their wolf management plan becasue it messed with his hunting opportunities.

Seems Wyoming was right in sticking to their guns.

I remember when the news about that Hillsboro hunter came out, but can't remember if he was fined or not. I do believe it happened in March, as well! Weird, stuff...

That's true. Too bad it had to suffer. He should have finished it off. But I'm still glad to see one less such animal in our state. Last thing we need is for them to get any type of foothold here whatsoever.
