If you're in town (Fargo) and in the area of Scheels/Gander, there's a small Seafood place near the Applebee's on 45th called Deep Blue Seafood. It's a legitimate fish market and they serve lunch. I'm not real big on fish but every time I go in I want to leave with a little of everything. It's amazing (for a place like Fargo) and I STRONGLY encourage you to check them out.

Lunch is pretty good too! I learned today that "the Moby" is actually TWO huge Alaskan Walleye sandwiches. (Everything Is fresh, every single time.)

do you work there Wetter?

No, I just want the place to stay open. That's got to be challenging to turn a profit with perishable product that has to be flown in every couple days. Huge gamble for the owners.

Is this place associated with Off the Hook Seafood? Traveling fresh seafood truck based out of Fargo. If so, they have really good food and nice guy to deal with. He comes to the Beulah area once a month. I have bought from him a couple times.

I have been there for lunch and almost ordered 'The Moby' until I realized it was two sandwiches. Ordered 'The Guppy' instead which is just once sandwich. It was very good with a big piece of fish. I'll definitely stop in again sometime.

wish we had fresh fish.....we have taco johns

hey now - that's a pretty decent gift horse right there. : )

love me an occasional lunch and breakfast oles (bacon)

I make my own taco bravo by buying a hardshell and a bean burrito and wrapping it myself after a generous loading of the "Green Bastard from Parts Unknown" sauce

I've been wanting to stop there since they opened. Other side of town for me and I'm never in that vicinity. But I may need to divert myself thattaway to partake in their vittles. Look like mighty fine good eats!

Taco johns' meat and potato breakfast burrito is my kryptonite. I could literally eat them two at a time until i keeled over dead

yes?

Fresh Seafood Sources
We started our voyage in 2013 as Off The Hook Seafood, a pop-up shop sourcing and selling high-quality seafood in the Upper Midwest. We’ve built our supply chain one boat at time.
At Deep Blue, there are no middlemen to muddy the waters. Our sources are nearly all small boats and family-owned businesses—relationships we’ve built over the years.
Chains buy in bulk and plan their selections months in advance. That doesn’t wash with us. We follow the latest currents in customer tastes and seasonality to reel in the freshest fish for our customers. in most cases, from shore to shop in 3 days or less.
