Now I know most of you drink so fast you never have time to put your beer down. But there is that chance that you'll have to fight a fish or rebait a hook or detangle a rat's nest from the wife's reel. Hey, it happens.

So in those instances, has anyone found a good, quality, non-spilling cup holder so as not to spill any of the sweet nectar and, thus, shame the fishing gods?? We installed some of those super cheap, collapsable cup holders in a buddy's boat in high school, and I think they lasted a whopping three outings before both were cracked or broken.

I'd like to install 2-3 NDA-approved drink holding apparati in the old Alumacraft Classic Deluxe before hitting the water in a few weeks.

Aannnnnnddd....GO!

I guess my lund has them built right into the gunnel. or the dash.

I did have in my old boat the fold down type, they were less than desirable.

3 feet of 550 cord. Gorilla tape. Can coozie of your choice. And presto, beer dispensing necklace. If it's good enough for Moondance it's good enough for your boat

You can get a mug with a top and attach a lanyard. I do this for tailgating and it works great. Haven't tried it for fishing. Maybe I need to pitch less.

Me frosty beverages reside in me hand or a sparkly cup holder in the boat.

So what you're saying is I need to get myself a four-inch hole saw and start making cup holders all over my boat, and then fill them with glitter. Sounds risky, but I like it.

I mounted two of the fold down on the left hand side of the steering console of my classic. Works for me. Drop the cold one in as I go for net mounted on left hand side (port) rod locker.

You could always just start smoking weed, like #guywhogetshighandeatssausagesafterahardskate, then you wouldn't need any damn cup holders
