Bacon! Need help...

When I get a burger from JL Beers, I save the bacon and cook it the following morning. It has this delicious “funk” smell and tastes very different from bacon I’ve had anywhere else. What’s with their bacon and where can I get some?

No, it’s not the bleu cheese, although bleu cheese really does liven up an egg burrito. I used to add it to my breakfast often.

Super cereal, there’s something different about their bacon.

Best bacon I have ever had was at Frontier Charters Lodge in Sitka, Alaska. They use thick cut bacon and bake it in the oven (30 minutes?) with brown sugar sprinkled on the top! To die for!!!

Candied bacon. Tried making it years ago but did not suit my taste. Maybe wrong bacon to start with, but then no bacon is bad.

I don't think there's much that isn't good at manny's. Had a big steak there when I graduated.
