Any non-traditional Turkey Dayers out there? If so what are you serving instead of turkey? Or what are some of your non-traditional sides?

I know someone who said they are doing prime rib. And another that is doing meatballs, mashed potatoes and gravy.

To each their own. I myself will be smoking a couple birds and a ham.

Pic didn't load but we are going to try Lobster this year for the traditional meal and a turkey on Friday.

I'm having a T-bone, baked potato with a shit load of sour cream and butter tomorrow. I have a pumpkin pie, whipped cream (real stuff) and some fresh whole milk to top it off.

Weather permitting I have a very nice cigar for after dinner on the porch.

I'm ready to move on with with the tradition , All the years growing up it was turkey and Ludafisk that stunk up the house both Thanksgiving and Christmas . The only thing I miss is mom's Swedish meatballs.

Question: Does that bada$$ with the two hotties appear to be walking a freaking HAM? No - the idiot walking a ham was kilt by outraged natives (justifiably so).

Kids like steak and noodles better than the traditional stuff. I can't really argue with them there, so that's what we'll have. Doesn't make a lot of sense to go through all the work of making all the stuff and cleaning it all up and have only a couple people to eat it. Only downside is no leftovers. We did prime rib last year, have never had a turkey that tasted half that good.

Great I hope the third degree burns to my sinuses from shooting hot coffee out my nose doesn’t affect my olfactory sense for tomorrow’s feast. I swear I’ll burn every skateboard in Fargo if it does

There must be turkey, but it can be accompanied by ham and prime rib as side dishes.

I don’t care for turkey unless it’s smoked, because everything is good smoked. I usually skip it on Turkey day. Much prefer almost any other meat.
