Drove back to Minot from the farm by Cavalier today. It took a little more than 5 hours to do the trip. Once I got west of Rugby a little, roads were good

We got 3-5 inches of snow last night with a little wind. Wasn't snowing when I went to work at 7 this morning and hasn't snowed all day. Streets had slush on them then and they are dry now.

I gotta admit i was wrong. This one is the real deal up here in the lake region. We have well over a foot on the ground, its still coming down and the wind is blowing as predicted

I love how this storm must have sat back and waited for the Weather Service to downgrade the Bismarck area into a winter weather advisory than as soon as they did fired up a line of snow they weren't expecting that far west just to make asses out of them! As soon as they switched us to 1 to 2 inches over night she turned around and drops damn near a foot!

I do enjoy winter weather. That being said I also enjoy pheasant hunting. Too early for this

devils lake got dumped on in the middle of the night, woke up to over a foot looks like im waiting till Monday to head west for pheasants.
