Why $15? Make it $40/hr. That’s what it takes to live♂️

Kangaroo isn't bad. Little tough and dry if it isn't made right. Camel tastes like very bad beef. Was going to try Emu and Crocodile but they only had camel and kangaroo the night we ate there. They alternate one night camel and kangaroo then the next night emu and crocodile.

The kangaroos in the outback are frigging huge. Some of the big reds get 6-7' tall and weigh more than a big muley buck. Hit one of them without a roo bar and you can call the salvage yard. I pulled off the road and trailed a couple of them for about a mile into the bush but they were really cagey and stayed about 3-400 yards away from me and just peeked over the brush to keep me in sight. Met a couple there on holiday (what they call vacation) and the guy told me he was going to have to shoot 40 roos for a neighbor when he got home. The neighbor got a permit from the government to shoot them to thin the herd near his home. I asked if they used the meat and he said the neighbor didn't want to pay the extra fee for the meat permit so they were just going to let them lay. Met 4 or 5 young guys on holiday and one gave me his number and told me if I ever got to Adelaide I should give him a call and he and his buddies would take me out jacklighting roos. He said it was great fun. Good salt of the earth people in the outback.

I don’t know why but about 2/3rds the way through this I caught myself reading in an Australian accent. G’day mate

Make sure Mic Dundee isn't there with the gal from New York. Those roos shoot back.

Don't worry we all will have good paying union jobs building solar panels so min. wage won't matter.

Why bother with money at all? Just give everyone the same food, housing, clothes, vehicles, phones, etc. Everyone works as hard as everyone else so everyone is entitled to the same stuff.

Today on Rush we heard from Kommietoe:

HARRIS: "Job creation around, for example, all of those skilled workers who are in the coal industry and — and — and transferring those skills to what we need to do in terms of (sputtering) in dealing with reclaiming abandoned land mines."

But they will be "green" jobs and save our planet even though china will be burning everything in sight for fuel.

Have you ever heard of blue darts? That's real flammable gas buddy! Bad for the ozone and the sex life! It does not impress the ladies that you can throw a flame all the way up your leg when trying to fold in half and open up enough to get the volume and trajectory needed for a good flame!

Although you do get to show off your bean bag with your legs straight up, that might impress someone at the party...

I think its fairly naïve to think we arent or havent had some impact. How much so is very much up for debate, and i dont think its doom and gloom.

No opinion on the article, but I've always held that if you are 20-something and working for the minimum wage, you have made some serious career errors.

Nothing hiking the min raise in the covid era. Probably the largest impact cost wise will be the health care workers by far. Nice raise to your health insurance along with a long stretch of printing money add a few 20 somethings minimalists and the economy will love it.

Did some research on ice ages and it sounds like man made climate change will ensure we do not see another ice age! Too me that sounds like a good thing! But then I read into how sun and volcano activity could alter everything again no matter what we about our own emissions. This is all out of our hands and not worth fretting about is what I settled on. We will all be able to survive in a warm climate but an ice age could kill most of us.....
