Is that the dam on McConaughy Lake? Our past Fur Takers president and one of my instructors from the FTA Trappers college lives on the north side of the lake. I love the sandhills, but fighting a grassfire on grass covered sand dunes has to be a complete nightmare. You can literally get stuck anywhere with anything. Stay safe.
