When you purchase it you are told you are supposed to pay for what you use, everything is there and it is up to you if you want to pay for it or not. Actually there are so many channels on the VeeSee box it is actually overwhelming. If using Verizon internet you may not have all the boxes, choices available. Sometimes they all work sometimes only 3 of the 5 areas work, still trying to figure this part out. Works perfect on midco cable. Yes you need a box for each TV or must move the box to each TV as you use it. I have VeeSee V6 plus boxes and do like them except trying to figure the Verizon thing out. one disadvantage is no DVR or recording ability. You can to back and watch something that was on up to 7 days baco
