She didn't either. IDK: I'd say it was "Jolene" and Jack White being a Jack Ass. She did release a "rock" album after the fact; working with a lot of talent: IMO it was response to being lampooned. Jack White "shot a fawn with a pellet gun": Plenty "Air Supply", "Elton John", "Christopher Cross", "Little River Band", "Billy Joel" etc to piss on.

He chose Dolly Parton.
